I think the most Gemini thing my dad has ever done is one year he threw himself a reverse surprise party for the sheer drama of it. What is a reverse surprise party? you may ask, well let me tell you. So he invites over all his friends and family and then in the middle of dinner he stands up and announces that it’s not a regular dinner, it is in fact, his birthday dinner (his exact words were “Surprise! …. it’s my Birthday”) cue everyone looking panicked, because oh god I don’t have a gift, I don’t even have a card, but my father, wine glass still in hand assures them not to worry and reveals a pile of presents he got for himself and wrapped for everyone to pick one and give it to him as their gift. And honestly? My father is such a legend.

If Blue had only been moderately red-faced before, now she was blushing intensely.

Since Bowen had already gone ahead and revealed his feelings for her, there was no sense in hiding her own. At least it was just the two of them around.

When Blue had gotten her wits back, she briefly stuttered before responding to the blonde, avoiding his glance and internally screaming in embarrassment.

“Um…I, uh…I love you too.”

So much had happened over the years to change her that Blue didn’t respond flirtily like her old self would have.

Finding words insufficient to prove the genuine nature of her response, Blue hugged Bowen suddenly, burying her face in his neck.

Bowen did notice how Blue was blushing so much after his confession. Even now, he still felt nervous in the lead up to what he had just told her.

Of course, he wasn’t sure what the outcome would be, especially when she avoided his gaze. Eyes widened when she gave him an answer, especially when three special words were said in the same sentence. She was stuttering too. Was she nervous as well.

“R..re-” Before he could say anything, Blue quickly took him in her arms, her face well buried in his neck. The blonde just wrapped his arms around her, his head leaning against hers. Finally did his smile become happy. Indeed, he loved her and to know she loved him back was an amazing feeling.

For a while time stood still, as he held her in his arms. Like every time they held eachother, he never wanted to let her go, but at the same time.

“I.. wanna ask you.. something as well.” He might as well. “Shall.. we stay the night at my place? I’ve.. always wanted to show you my home.”

Blue smiled in barely concealed happiness. “I’d like that very much.”

Staying the night at Bowen’s home…it was an intriguing prospect. How was his home like? Was it rustic and comfy, modern and minimalistic?

She always appreciated the aesthetics of one’s home.

“Don’t fucking call me that.” Wolf said, the distaste in his voice clear as a bell, “I have a name, and I’d fucking like it be used.”

With a growl, he began to walk off, gesturing for the two of them to follow.

“Let it be clear to you, Green. Where I come from, titles mean nothing. We do not refer to people by their titles, but by their names.” He said with much animosity, “Don’t ever make that mistake again, otherwise you will be put in the stocks.”

The battle weary Aurelien was not in a good mood after witnessing one of the most immoral weapons he had ever seen.

“Also… Don’t ever use that weapon you used again.” Wolf growled.

“To refer to you by name and not title would be highly informal and socially unacceptable. You are the ruler of your people and must be treated with the appropriate respect.”

After a moment, Green sighed in exasperation. “But if you wish…fine. Have it as you wish, Wolf.” It was clear that he did not like the informal manner in which Wolf carried himself often.

“As for that weapon, it was the only one that didn’t have a risk of collateral damage in close-quarters and tight spaces. Are you telling me you would rather I had fired the Advent so close to you?”

Behind the two of them, Yellow stayed quiet, not wanting to get between the two irritated men.
