Hope giggled as she gave a quick look at Lumi and squeezed her hand lightly, then back to the Elven cleric.

“Miss Astrid told us about this place and so we thought we’d visit it. Never seen a Goddess of Love before, honestly.”

Lumi nodded along. Truthfully, she was a little curious herself. Was she going to appear in the proverbial flesh, if at all, or in their minds?

What were they going to offer Agape? Lumi knew her sister had some idea, but she was no mind reader.

Knowing her, probably something highly affectionate and embarrassing.

“Neither have I,” the cleric admitted.  “Lady Agape has yet to show herself before all of us like Lady Astrid has.  Still, perhaps you might make an offer to Lady Agape while you’re here?”

Hope giggled, almost seeming giddy with happiness. “Of course…”

The white-haired shipgirl pulled her sister along, a little closer to the shrine. Without further ado, Hope wrapped her free arm around Lumi’s waist, giving her a very tender look before kissing her fully on the lips.

Hope’s eyes widened briefly before she closed them and all but melted into Hope’s arms. The two cruisers stayed like that for a moment before separating, both blushing as they continued to hold hands.

Surely that would have grabbed Agape’s attention, if she were watching.

Yellow nodded back quietly, and set out searching for an alcove for herself.

Luckily, even with the number of Adventurers present there were a few alcoves free. Getting into one, the healer set down her hover cart in one and began setting up the vehicle bay.

The idea had already planted itself in her head after that escort mission, but now she planned to bring it into reality. Sadly, her vehicle bay was no Tenno foundry, being rather limited with resources while she was here, and so her production of an Amesha support-type Archwing was at best going to be a pale imitation.

Perhaps when she eventually returned to the Initiative she could give it the necessary upgrades…but for now this would do.

As she worked through the design plan on the vehicle bay’s haptic interface, Yellow softly spoke to herself. “New project, index as Mark I.” As she worked, the components she’d brought along disappeared into light and were absorbed into a part of the vehicle bay.

The rest of the party, if they were interested, could see Yellow toying with the haptic projection of her design, resembling two large mechanical wings and two smaller auxiliary wings, sprouting from some sort of connector.

Thrud looked over the design that Yellow was building.  “Some sort of jetpack you’re making?” she asked.  “Looks rather curious as a device.”

Yellow began to reply, but stopped herself short as she considered Thrud’s words. Finding it somewhat appropriate, she gave an answer slowly.

“I…suppose…you could say that. It’s…similar. But not just a jetpack.”

From what she had read of them, Tenno documents on Archwings described them as multi-environment aerospace superiority vehicles, with integrated life-support, high-power reactors and various onboard modules.

Her current attempt at making an Amesha was a shoddy ripoff, to be sure, given her lack of some types of resources. But this would still augment her capabilities nonetheless.

“Once I’m done designing it, this will build itself. I estimate about…12 hours total. 6 for actual completion and 6 for full integration. In the meantime, while it builds we can head to Larstern.”

Hope beamed and waved, pulling Lumi along as they both started following the arrow. “We will!”

Amusingly, the arrow seemed almost…silly, with how it occasionally twitched and wiggled as they traveled. Even with them both lightly jogging, the two cruiser sisters took a while to arrive at Agape’s shrine.

There were a few clerics to Agape wandering the shrine, tending to it as needed.  One of them took notice of the Shipgirl duo that walked in, an Elven Woman by the looks of things.  “Oh, hello there!” she said.  “Welcome to Lady Agape’s humble shrine.  What brings you two to this sacred temple?”

Hope giggled as she gave a quick look at Lumi and squeezed her hand lightly, then back to the Elven cleric.

An fairly sensible name for what sounded like a workshop, but Yellow decided to withhold any judgement on it until she saw it for herself.

Besides, how big could a place like that be? She didn’t really need much, merely a room’s worth of space. The whole system she was currently carting around was more or less self-sufficient.

Once the group reached the Crafter’s Alley, there were a couple dozen Adventurers running around with miniature crafting stations, some of them sharing supplies with each other for bigger projects, and some of them putting their stuff up for sale on the market.  The alley was effectively a long building with multiple smaller alcoves for Adventurers to work in.

Thrud nodded to Yellow once they got inside.  “Feel free to find a spot and start working,” she mentioned.  “We’ll be here if you need anything.”

Yellow nodded back quietly, and set out searching for an alcove for herself.

Hope could not possibly have looked any more elated at Astrid’s suggestions as she soon ceased her bouncing and settled for swaying back and forth. Clearly she had something in mind as an offering, whatever it was.

“Alrighty, sis and I will head there at once~!” the white-haired shipgirl chirped as she looked around and held herself close to Lumi’s arm. For her part, Lumi maintained her attention on Astrid.

“Um…really, where do we go?”

A green arrow appeared at the feet of Hope and Lumi.  “Just follow the green arrow and you’ll get there!” Astrid answered.  “Hope you’ll enjoy it, friends!”

Hope beamed and waved, pulling Lumi along as they both started following the arrow. “We will!”

Yellow had noticed as well, though she made no remarks on it. Little observations of all the Ancoran technology she’d encountered implied analogues to some types of spacefaring-level technology existed.

The healer softly exhaled, looking around the streets as she followed her party. “I hope there’s at least one empty spot in the city. I can’t exactly set up what I need in an alleyway.”

“Yeah, there’s the Crafter’s Alley,” Thrud answered.  “That’s where Adventurers tend to go to build things as needed.  It’s got plenty of room for that device.”

“The replicator module…” Yellow replied off-handedly as the rear door of the shuttle opened. “I can modify it to become a vehicle bay, but this’ll need…some of the shuttle’s parts.”

Finding the replicator, Yellow accessed its haptic controls and put in a few specific commands. Many parts of the stealth shuttle’s hull and interior then glowed as they disintegrated into light, converted into the components she needed.

A few minutes later, Yellow emerged from the heavily cannibalized shuttle, pulling along a large crate atop a similarly large hover cart. The shuttle’s sublight engines and miniature drive core had also been part of this fancy dismantling, now reduced to significant components alongside the replicator itself within the crate.

“That’s everything I needed. We can head back to the city now.”

“Alright then,” Thrud replied, keeping her weapon at the ready.  “Let’s move out, team!” With that, the squad made its return trip back to the town they were in.  Strangely, the hover cart seemed to elect no real response from the locals, who seemed to treat that device as if it wasn’t anything new.

For a moment, neither shipgirl made a move. But then, Hope’s eyes practically glowed with joy as Lumi began blushing madly.

“Kyaaahahayesyesyes we have to see her!” Hope exclaimed with a surge of energy, hopping on the spot as Lumi’s hand was dragged along with the motion.

“Point us to her shrine’s direction, pleeeaase!!!”

Lumi had a different thought in her mind, though. Given that her sister was bouncing up and down so excitedly, her question came out unsteadily.

“But-but w-wait what do we e-even offer to her?”

“I suggest, flowers, perfume, or other romantic objects,” Astrid answered.  “Those are Agape’s favored offerings.  Should you not be able to produce any of that, an offering of coin is sufficient for any god.”

Hope could not possibly have looked any more elated at Astrid’s suggestions as she soon ceased her bouncing and settled for swaying back and forth. Clearly she had something in mind as an offering, whatever it was.

“Agape…” Hope let the name roll around her mind for a moment before realization hit her.

“You mean to say…there’s other deities besides you now?”

Lumi’s eyes also widened. This was new information to her as well. Meeting one deity had already been quite the experience, but another…

“This Agape you’re talking about, Astrid…what are they the deity of?” Lumi inquired.

“Yeah, we have a whole pantheon now!” Astrid replied with a grin and a thumbs-up.  It was going to be fun to reveal Agape’s station to these two.  “Agape’s the Goddess of Love.  I figured that you two are going to enjoy going to her shrine as a result!”

For a moment, neither shipgirl made a move. But then, Hope’s eyes practically glowed with joy as Lumi began blushing madly.
