Preparing for Hell [closed with fleet-admiral-red]
“Well, I intend to bring along Ruler. According to her, she has incalculably high Magic Resistance to all types of magic, known or otherwise.” Red explained.
What that meant in practice was that Ruler wouldn’t even be scratched by the most powerful of demonic or holy magic attacks.
Unfortunately, it also meant that an ally’s healing magic wouldn’t affect her either, so magical healing was right out.
The upside was that so long as a party was behind Ruler, they wouldn’t need to worry about magical assaults.
“We’ll need to equip ourselves with more traditional healing methods if her magic resistance makes magical healing out of the question,” Astrid observed. “Much of my people’s healing abilities are reliant on my own healing powers, and those who can draw upon them, though I made certain not to neglect traditional healing methods.”
“Hope that works out for her,“ Red replied with a slight sigh. He’d done his fair share of tests and field experiments on the nature of Servants over the years since he’d made his acquaintance with Jeanne.
“That aside…Astrid, I just want to let you know that…if ever you’re feeling worn out, you can talk with me. I’m here for all my friends.” Red said with much sincerity and concern. He was, admittedly, tempted to give the goddess a hug if she needed it.
But given how turbulent things were at the moment, he wasn’t sure if Astrid would appreciate or even want the gesture.

Reminds me some discussions on fanfiction.net. UBW Good End (The one where Saber sticks around) Rin showed that movie to Saber and she got all PTSD’ed at the Killer Bunny part because it DID happen XD

Schoolgirl discovers ‘Excalibur’ sword in lake from Arthur legend
A schoolgirl will have quite a story to tell when she returns to the classroom – after discovering a sword in the same lake King Arthur’s legendary Excalibur was thrown.
Matilda Jones, aged seven, from Doncaster, found the sword when she was paddling in Dozmary Pool, in Cornwall with her dad, Paul.
Paul, aged 51, had told Matilda and her sister Lois, four, about the legend of King Arthur on their journey to the lake.
He said: “It was a blistering hot day and Matilda asked if we could go for a paddle.
“She was only waist deep when she said she could see a sword.

The best notes written in manuscripts by medieval monks
Colophon: a statement at the end of a book containing the scribe or owner’s name, date of completion, or bitching about how hard it is to write a book in the dark ages
- Oh, my hand
- The parchment is very hairy
- Thank God it will soon be dark
- St. Patrick of Armagh, deliver me from writing
- Now I’ve written the whole thing; for Christ’s sake give me a drink
- Oh d fuckin abbot
- Massive hangover
- Whoever translated these Gospels did a very poor job
- Cursed be the pesty cat that urinated over this book during the night
- If someone else would like such a handsome book, come and look me up in Paris, across from the Notre Dame cathedral
- I shall remember, O Christ, that I am writing of Thee, because I am wrecked today
- Do not reproach me concerning the letters, the ink is bad and the parchment scanty and the day is dark
- 11 golden letters, 8 shilling each; 700 letters with double shafts, 7 shilling for each hundred; and 35 quires of text, each 16 leaves, at 3 shilling each. For such an amount I won’t write again
- Here ends the second part of the title work of Brother Thomas Aquinas of the Dominican Order; very long, very verbose; and very tedious for the scribe; thank God, thank God, and again thank God
- If anyone take away this book, let him die the death, let him be fried in a pan; let the falling sickness and fever seize him; let him be broken on the wheel, and hanged. Amen
