for funsies i set my in-game audio to korean and d.va does this when she boosts and i died

The brunette was honestly quite fascinated by everything she saw.
With the sheer devastation done to Earth back in the 21st century and the subsequent recovery over the centuries under the banner of United Earth and then the Federation, very few homes were like Bowen’s anymore.
Seeing a genuine (or at least, close enough) 21st century house brought a comfortable feeling to Blue. While she certainly was quite fond of the Ring-side apartment she shared with Bowen, Blue appreciated how Bowen loved this place.
It was as much a home for him as the gleaming starscrapers of Eden were for her.
Bowen could tell that Blue was quite fascinated with his place. Granted he hadn’t done much research in what happened to Earth’s devastation and the like, but here, it was still the 21st century in his world.
“My.. decoration is a bit unique.. I.. do like trains a lot.. and old stuff, heh. Maybe I should contact the Ministry of Science and set up some sort of portal link between here and our apartments. That way we can go to and from easily instead of taking a long train ride every time. I’ve got a big model train layout in my shed too.”
Soon he had a thought, approaching her as he took her hand gently. “Y’know.. there’s been something else I’ve been.. wanting to do for a while.. maybe I should have done this back at the beach but.. I reckon it would be just as special now..” He waited for her to turn to him, so that he could gaze into her eyes again.
Blue blushed, turning to face Bowen as he requested.
She wondered if what he was about to do with her matched the scenario in her mind. Well, regardless of what happened, she would accept it.
After all, surely Bowen wanted to show affection in his own way.

“Anti-demon weapons, huh…” Red murmured, pondering the impact they would have on GDI’s magic-countering capabilities.
“Alright, I’ll be sure to talk to Nora about them soon. Also, since you’re already asking me, I know someone who would be very useful in a mission like this.”
Namely, Ruler herself. There was no one else Red trusted more to stand by his side in a battle of magic.
The pair had trained extensively over the years in the event of a large-scale magical war. Now seemed as good a time as any to test their mettle.
“Good to hear,” Astrid replied. “Anyone you would recommend is someone that I can certainly trust for this mission. So, who ya got in mind?”
“Well, I intend to bring along Ruler. According to her, she has incalculably high Magic Resistance to all types of magic, known or otherwise.” Red explained.
What that meant in practice was that Ruler wouldn’t even be scratched by the most powerful of demonic or holy magic attacks.
Unfortunately, it also meant that an ally’s healing magic wouldn’t affect her either, so magical healing was right out.
The upside was that so long as a party was behind Ruler, they wouldn’t need to worry about magical assaults.

Hearing that from Astrid, of all people, was admittedly quite surprising. But nonetheless, her wanting to kill demons and giving him a chance to do so brought a slight grin to Red’s face.
“I finally get to kill some demons, huh? I hear you, Astrid. I’m in on this plan.”
Granted, for the sake of efficiency it was probably best that the Demon Lords be turned against each other, rather than facing them head on.
Still, if he got to kill a few demons while helping Astrid out, all the better for the cathartic factor.
“Good,” Astrid replied. “I probably won’t organize a large party to invade Hell, just a few of my most trusted allies for this task. Still, Nora’s developing some anti-demon weapons now. I can probably have her give you some of them for when you need them.”

Red gave his friend an anxious, harrowed look. “I’ll be honest, I haven’t been doing too well today. We lost contact with our only Transdimensional Gate in Bouzac space, and the final transmissions indicate it may have somehow self-destructed.”
Though GDI had a few other TD Gates in the Bouzaculan universe, all of them lay far outside Bouzac space, or even in the neighbouring galaxy. The Empire of Hope would have a little more trouble moving their fleet back to Terra Hope through those other Gates now.
“We also picked up several hypernovae suddenly erupting in Bouzac space, we believe 74% of their systems are badly affected.”
“As well, about this matter of demons stealing most of your power…”
Red was unsure of how to speak of this around Astrid. Having one’s abilities be stolen or at least drastically reduced was nonetheless a good reason to be angry. Much as he considered the goddess a dear and close friend, Red certainly did not want to be on the receiving end of her anger.
“Is there something you plan on doing about the culprit? I’ll be willing to lend you any and all aid that we can provide.”
“Hm, I see,” Astrid replied. She had gotten no reports of random hypernovae from her people, of which she counted the Bouzac as such, but she wasn’t going to question it at this point. Red had asked about what she was going to do about this demon that’s been a thorn in he side for too long.
“I plan on organizing a raid of Hell,” Astrid answered, her voice very firm and unusually serious. “I’m going to ready a small team to go into Hell, find the demon responsible, and kill him, as well as any other demon that gets in our way.
“My companion Nora recently interrogated one of the Demon Lords down there, Adam, the original host of the demon’s powers. He said that he’s willing to provide us with information if we can do some errands for him. More specifically, he wants us to eliminate his rivals.
“There are five other Demon Lords that have decided to put aside their differences to bring him down. Adam wants them dead or at each other’s throats. Once that’s done, he’ll supply us with the information he wants, and he even said that if we exceed his expectations he’ll give us further aid on our mission.
“I don’t like Adam, a lot of this can be traced back to him. But we need him alive to get that information, such without him, our one lead goes up in smoke. Once we’re done with that demon, do as you wish to Adam, I do not care anymore, but until then, keep him alive.”

Astrid had arranged a private meeting between herself and Red. By now Red had learned of Astrid being drained of a big chunk of her powers, and Astrid wanted to make an offer for Red. She knew by now that Red despised demons and wanted them all gone, something that she came to agree with now.
When Red arrived, Astrid smiled to him. “Hello, my friend,” she said, more than a hint of exhaustion in her voice. “How do you do today?”
Red gave his friend an anxious, harrowed look. “I’ll be honest, I haven’t been doing too well today. We lost contact with our only Transdimensional Gate in Bouzac space, and the final transmissions indicate it may have somehow self-destructed.”

honestly “i’ll do whatever you want” “then perish” is the single most powerful exchange possible in the english language and it’s from some bizarre “hewwo” obama rp
And there was that other post where someone dreamt that Obama said “violence for violence is the rule of beasts” like what is it about Obama that makes people come up with such raw fucking dialogue for him
my mother had a dream where he lived in the forest and she had a cigarette with him and he said “to become god is the loneliest achievement of them all” and put it out and walked into the mist and i’ve never fucking forgotten that
